Supplements for Women?

I am at a loss! I am 21 and 5'11 and 153lbs, I want to lose just under 20lbs but also to tone up a lot!
I have never taken protein/anything like that before and was wondering if any of you fine people could offer me some advice on it? There are 3 things I was considering getting (from reviews etc):
http://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/cla/10530408.html
CLA capsules

diet whey protein
http://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/thermopure/10530152.html
thermopure
if anybody could offer me advice I would be so so grateful, want to be getting the most from my exercise possible, but also don't want to spend all the money if it's all silly and I'm simply being led astray by advertising.
Ps I know there isn't a big magic pill for weight loss etc, I am doing the work also, just want some help!
Thanks so much in advance!

Don't bother with the CLA or thermopure. If you aren't getting enough protein from your diet you can supplement it with protein powder. I take a multivitamin (specifically for vegetarians) and a vitamin D supplement because I'm deficient. I also take BCAA's before I workout since I train fasted. You might want to look into an omega 3 supplement (don't get a 3-6-9, just omega 3) and possibly creatine if you're trying to gain some muscle.0

Please do not use CLA. It's not save. It's banned in Autralia and should be banned everywhere. It's basicly a trans fat; you want to aviod them at all cost. It raises your LDL (bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL (good cholesterol). That will increase your risk of coronary heart disease.0

I bought this ON Opti-Women capsules, and haven't started taking them yet. Anyone has taken these or currently taking these daily? Any thoughts?0
