Afraid to eat out anymore

We ate with family at a Japanese Steakhouse tonight and by estimation I went over by 600-700 calories today. Ugh. This is not going to help with the fact that I've been in a consistent deficit the past two weeks and have not seen the scale budge a bit. Any advice on how to recover from my salt/fat fest at this restaurant and to get the darned scale to move again?

Just work harder tomorrow! There's really no sense in beating yourself up over a few hundred calories when you can just burn them right off in the next few days.
Whenever I overeat by a little, I'll just try to add another 10-20 minutes into my exercise routine for the next few days to balance myself out.

Next time try to stick with lean meats and veggies when you go somewhere like that. (At a Japanese steakhouse that should be totally possible.) Don't drink your calories and you should be fine. Or just plan your day around it, it's ok to splurge every now and then and you can always work out more.0

Do NOT worry about it! Tomorrow is another day and it is all about long term habits.0

Drink a lot ( water! Not booze! ) and don't worry about this one incident. Next time, as others have indicated, try to stick to more veggies and chicken.0

New day. You need to be able to enjoy an evening out. Changing your body is a long trip not a prison sentence. A single meal out is not going to blow up your transformation. You have to build in 'treats' now and then or you will most likely fail anyway.0
