Looking to add supportive friends!!!

I was on here before and lost about 40 lbs, but need to get back on the wagon! I gained all of my weight back. :( My fault - but I recently changed jobs and am more active at work. I love my job, have an amazing little girl, and a great boyfriend. I just need to love myself again! :) If there are any people that would like to friend me, I would appreciate it :) I found that when I had many on here, I did a lot better!

    Welcome. I find myself in a similar situation. I had three family members die this year and have fallen back into poor eating habits to cope. I have a son who is a senior and a wonderful husband. Since I teach, I have lots of time off now to working on eating right and exercising. You can count me as a friend for the journey.

    I'm new to this forum and also want to be back to my old self again. I lost 3 stone a few years ago, and have put it all back on again, my fault, I think to myself I will start tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes, until today hehe,

    I just found out about this site and joined - especially for the group support.
    I have 15 kg (30 lbs) I want to burn (or donate - why can't we do that? I'd gladly donate all that extra fat).
    Not 100% sure yet how this works (having some trouble adding exercises - it won't recognize any of my key words).
    Also, I'm working out with Tony Horton's 10 minute trainer (just finished week 1). Doing 3 routines a day - it's a killer, and hopefully will speed up the process. Also planning on going back to swimming - at least once a week.

  • I just started looking into MFP today and am trying to learn my way around the site. About a month and a half ago, I decided that I have had enough of being overweight and wishing I wasn't. Since 4/19/13, I have lost 13 pounds and couldn't be happier, unless I could lose the entire 70 lbs yesterday! I need this, I want this, I have to do this! I completely changed my way of eating by decreasing my portion sizes, eating more fruits and veggies, eating healthy snacks, and drinking more water. The exercise part is the hard part. I have been having intermittent low back and right hip pain, which makes certain activities painful. NOT TO MENTION, I just need to get started and get on a roll! I am sure the pain would be better with less weight on my body.

    have stated to begin dieting because of strees in my life. feel like i had no control in my outer life i could control my food so i use this site in two ways 1) to see that i do eat and 2) lose the wt because of my health . according to my doctor i need to lose because ofhaving to high blood sugars. and other health issues.
