How do I count something I have no idea what is in it or how many calories? My boyfriend gave me a lemon loaf and I had a small piece - did not weigh it (still need to get a small scale). I checked the food index and a slice of lemon loaf ranges from 490 calories to 130 calories. Suggestions?

err on the side of caution, if it tasted like real butter was in it! :) Although, if it had no frosting, it might be less than the max.

I have a hard time with that kind of stuff too. I usually tend to log it on the higher side with the calories b/c I'd rather eat too little than too much! Or I'll take something in between the highest and lowest that I find and do that. Or I do Quick Add Calories and then under the food notes I put what I ate and how much. Good luck!
