Vitamins

Do you feel that daily vitamins are necessary? I haven't taken any before, but I do feel like sometimes I am off balance possibly. Can anyone recommend some to me to try for my age? Not sure how it works, love some help!

    You should be able to get most if not all your vitamins from your diet. I take a daily multi-vitamin just in case though.

    i take multi-vitamin gummie called one a day and fish oil pill o mega 3

    This. A daily multivitamin is really cheap insurance, just in case. I buy a generic, so it costs about a nickel a day. And it doesn't do any harm.

    If there's one dietary supplement you take it should vitamin d (d3 form). 2500-5000IU a day

    I sometimes feel a little off-balance, too. See a shrink-- the meds really help.

    I don't think taking a vitamin is required provided you have a proper diet. I take a multi maybe 10 times a year at most and only when I've had a bad day of eating. I keep track of my vitamins and minerals that I get through food and 99% of the time it's enough minus B 12. Also, vitamins are not regulated by the FDA as they are a supplement. Most of the time we supplement far too much when it only takes a small amount of food to get the nutrients we need.

    I take Vitamin D and Calcium and looking into warding off menopause so might start magnesium as well.

    A good diet should cover everything.
