I love my cappuccino with hazelnut syrup! Mmmm. Now I'm trying to cut that out cuz Im thinking its no good on my weight loss journey. Thinking about getting egberts hazelnut flavour instant coffee. Anybody tried this or know the nutritional values? Would this be bad to have while trying to shift the excess weight iv gained? There's also caramel and vanilla flavours. Or is coffee to be avoided ?

Any coffee is fine. If you're looking for a coffee syrup without adding calories, Torani makes the beat sugar free syrups. I swear I could probably drink the sugar free vanilla syrup straight :laugh:0

Really I thought my hazelnut cappuccino was part of my recent weight gain! Delighted I can still have one0

I have the Vanilla Torani sugar free syrup, but they are a bit pricy.... found out dollar tree sells a sugar free syrup called "café Al fresco" in vanilla, caramel, and hazelnut flavors. Pretty good for only a buck ha!0

Is it a coffee or a cappuccino? The instant cappuccinos tend to have sugar and other stuff in it, which will add to the calories, while coffee pretty much has 0.
As long as you have the calories for your coffee/syrup mix, it won't hinder your weight loss. If you think your daily coffee has too many calories, perhaps you could try adding slightly less syrup or other additives?
IMO, flavored ground coffees are purely aromatic and give it almost no flavor. They are usually made by putting a flavor coating on the bean. Try looking for a coffee with real spices added to the ground beans. (I know TJs usually has seasonal flavored blends, if you are in the states), which give a nice flavor.0 -
I've had flavoured instant coffees from Boaters and Littles. They taste good and have no more calories than other instant coffee.0

When I am out its hazelnut cappuccino like costa etc... Maybe if I get the syrup and start having plain coffee with the sugar free syrup!0

I love love LOVE my coffee, and it's all about what you add to your mug, when determining the calories. Get creative with delicious flavor combinations, opt for splenda and sugar-free syrups, and always measure out your creamer by the tbsp. Instant coffees are great! Perfect for a single cup, and packed with flavor. I love Hazelnut, Peppermint Mocha, and Vanilla. They are each around 5 calories or less a pack!0
