Body Monitor for Biking

I'm sort of new to all this. My main forms of exercise are either my bike or my stationary bike.

I was looking into FitBit but I was told it wouldn't do a great job of tracking my exercise as a biker. Is there something on the market that is better suited to biking? I'd love to get a good idea of my calories burned during a day.

Thanks.

I use the free phone app Endomondo that can be linked to MFP. I have a fitbit one but it doesn't really track biking so I use Endomondo. I also have tried Mapmyride free app but like Endomondo best. It tracks your bike route, cals burned, mph, and other stuff. There have been a couple times that I must have accidently turned it off while biking and it didn't get the entire ride but other than that I really like it.
I manually put my cals burned into MFP if the Endomondo app doesn't sync to MFP for that ride due to me accidently shutting it off while cyclying.

Thanks I will check out Endomondo. I have looked at it before and the calories burned were way higher than MapMyWalk. That's why I wanted something to tell me what I am really burning.

I also use Endomondo and a bluetooth heart rate monitor with it. The heart rate monitor will track your calories burned more accurately.

My Polar FT7 works great when I'm spinning and is accurate.
