Ok here is good news. house work counts as exercise (great for those of us that are busy and don't always have time to do both! Found a website that calculates calories burned. you put in your weight and enter the minutes and it tells you. I spent 75 minutes cleaning this morning, burned 328 calories!

  • Alternatively you could just type it in this site, under cleaning and get the answer the way the rest of us have.

I like to cross reference activities when I can. This site's entries are pretty acurate, but it's always good to see a second opinion.
  • They are good to log occasionally but should not be considered a replacement for true fitness. If thats all you can do in a day truely, then great. If not hit the workout!

Isn't it neat to see how many calories you can burn just by getting off your butt! I did 60 minutes of snow shoveling today and a few web sites said I burned almost 300 cals.
