housework counts!

Ok here is good news. house work counts as exercise (great for those of us that are busy and don't always have time to do both! Found a website that calculates calories burned. you put in your weight and enter the minutes and it tells you. I spent 75 minutes cleaning this morning, burned 328 calories!

Alternatively you could just type it in this site, under cleaning and get the answer the way the rest of us have.

I like to cross reference activities when I can. This site's entries are pretty acurate, but it's always good to see a second opinion.

They are good to log occasionally but should not be considered a replacement for true fitness. If thats all you can do in a day truely, then great. If not hit the workout!

Isn't it neat to see how many calories you can burn just by getting off your butt! I did 60 minutes of snow shoveling today and a few web sites said I burned almost 300 cals.
