I'm starting this today...any advice I should need? I want to get this right. I have the full video I found on YouTube. I should be ok to follow that?

Read Rippetoe's book or the Stronglifts PDF. Pay attention to the lift description in detail and ask pointers. Lifters love to give pointers.0

I don't remember if the video mentions Week 1, but if it doesn't: make sure you read the Stronglifts pdf for how to start out. The first couple weeks you'll be lifting an empty bar. If an empty 45 pound bar is still too much for you on some lifts, it's okay to start with dumbbells.
These first few workouts are about practicing form. If you're unsure about what good form is, the Rippetoe videos are really good. Also, try to get someone who knows what good form is to watch you.
Keep your core tight.
Don't drop a plate on your toe.0 -
