Hello everyone. I introduced myself about four months. I am a long time user of the app, but I have never posted to the forum before. My story is somewhat simple. A little over a year ago I weighed around 284 pounds. I was set on a journey of self discovery and weightloss. I was able to lose to lose the weight and I kept it off. At one point I weighed 172 pounds. Today I am 216.4 and it is killing me. Moreover, it is peanutbutter and nutella that is killing me. I need to get this weight off again. I desire to weigh a 178 pound, but I really need some more encouragement to lose. Help me!!!

You did it once! And you did it amazingly well...OF COURSE you can do it again! Add me if you'd like.
I'm new here, have 100+ pounds to lose...and that goal seems really far away....would love to hear how you kept yourself motivated during your journey. I've tried so many times before and failed every single time. I'm terrified I'll fail again, but praying I won't.
Anyway...add me if you'd like!

Hi!
There's one saying that helps me best - "It's a lifestyle, not a diet." You have to keep that in mind when you get back on track - which I know you can! If needed, force yourself to give up the food you're loving (peanut butter, etc), and get moving! After some painful days (hopefully not too many), you won't even miss them. And then, and only then, you'll gain back those feelings of self-accomplishment! I've been in your situation too many times myself; I completely understand. I lost 20 lbs a year ago, then I fell back into my old habits. Well, I'm back on track and am feeling better than ever now that I lost another 10 lbs! :-)
You can do it, and you will! Nothing in life worth having comes easy! Take care.0 -
I was 147 last time I stopped logging in MFP. I got pregnant and gained 47 pounds, lost 25 when the baby came out. Now I am 179 pounds. Trying to lose weight and reach my goal weight of 130. So you are not alone and you will do great.0

Hi--Ahhh, the great nutella and peanut butter duo strike again (ha) ! I know where you are coming from--in fact, I have re-started just this week to MFP, with at least 40 (hopefully 50) pounds to lose. You can do this !
feel free to add me as a friend!
enjoy your day!0
