Hi there, I am 42 wife, mother and grandmother and started my journey to a healthier, happier me Jan 1 with 121 lbs to lose, just hit my half-way mark of 60 lbs lost. I log everyday and try hard to motivate both myself and others. Take a look at my profile and if you like what you see, would be happy to have you as a friend. I'm a little older than you but I can always use more friends. Add me if you would like a little more encouragement! Has taken me a year and a half to lose just over 100 lbs. You have done an amazing job. I have thyroid issues and artificial knees but neither of them stop me.0

You are just what I need- did WW for a year and lost 30 lbs- got out of the habit of tracking plus felt like I was throwing away $$ by not using the tools. Then I stumbled accross this site. Started out strong, but fell off because I had no one to interact with and motivate me. Congrats on your sucess! Please add me! I too am in my 40's and trying to live a healthier life style. My first box of vegtables from the CSA we joined showes up today...going to try and be adventuress on my vegtable eating. Will share any new favorites I find.0

Hi, Congratulations on your success so far! I am also (almost) 1/2 way to my initial goal and am 45 years old. I have awesome friends, but can always use more. Anyone is free to add me--warning: I eat chocolate almost every day and have the occasional logged treat meal/day--if that offends you, I am probably not the best friend for you (I had someone unfriend me because of it). Also, I try to be very supportive, but log in weird hours and usually can't respond to everyone each day. But I try to be the best friend I can be.0

Hi All! Please feel free to add me too! I started with MFP originally in about March but didn't have any friends or tried to reach out to anybody. I fell off the wagon and would only log in sporadically. I would log in for a couple of days, then not for a few days. I decided to reach out for friends and it really does make a huge difference for me. We all need the support and friendly kick in the bum when necessary. :-)0
