Just do your thing and ignore the noise
You will never EVER please every one. The only natural thing is to please yourself (gigidy). Workout what YOU enjoy. Forgot the noise if weight lifting is best or running is or boxing is. Forget the noise about whats the good diet. YOU decide what you wanna eat. Nothing wrong with seeking advice or opinions but don't let others dictate what you should or shouldn't do because guess what, even if you do do them, you still will get negative comments.
Don't try to get the body others find attractive. Find the body YOU desire and let the others who're attracted to that body come to you.

I know just its taken me weeks to run 10 mins and he goes straight on and does it easily. Lesson is that I've done my best and not judge myself by how well he does.0 -
You cant tell me what to do
I 100% agree with you, you have to do what makes you happy and motivates you to better yourself

Hi Taunto0
-
true thank you I sometimes get lost in the sea of noise....:)0

I like the "sea of noise" reference.
This resonates with me today:). I came here to lose ten pounds and did it, then somehow got all caught up in the lifting hype despite my shoulder injury. I feel like a complete failure because I can keep progressing in my deads and can't bench s**t!
Who cares!:). It's awesome to share and learn. I have no regrets and I need to stop being so hard on myself:)
Thanks Taunto!0
