I take a Women's one a day everyday but by the end of the day I can never remember if I took it. Sometimes I leave myself notes but sometimes I forget. I know I have taken two a day every now and then.

Can it harm you to take two a day by accident? It's not everyday, probably twice or three times a week.

There are certain vitamins for which you can get vitamin toxicity...these are oil soluble vitamins like Vitamin A and Vitamin D. I have no idea how much is too much though. I stopped taking my multi vitamin...I pretty much get everything from food now and when I was taking my multi-vitamin I was getting like 600% of my vitamin A and stuff which I thought was just more of a waste of money than anything...
  • If you're taking other medications or have health issues it could be a problem. Possibly iron being an issue-O.D. or making your stool harder? For most people I don't think it would cause a problem but why don't you pick up a cheap weekly pill holder. Fill it all and if the little box for the day is empty...you took your pill(s).

Get one of those little pill boxes that have spots for everyday for a week. That way you can know if you took it or not.

Otherwise, if at the end of the day you cannot remember if you took your vitamin just don't take another. You don't HAVE to take one everyday. Missing a day won't be harmful and if your diet is pretty healthy you will be getting most of what you need from food intake.
