I joined here at the weekend, but after weighing in at my heaviest ever last night, I have decided I need a kick up the bum and actually join in. I think I'm finally realising that joining up to weight loss programmes won't actually get my weight off - I need to watch what I eat, too.

Hello there
I'm kind of new; I've been here since Monday :P
I have a problem with not exercising, I mean I could only last about 3 minutes of running---I know so pathetic. And I can barely do a push up
I need to get more active :P

You'll be amazed how much better you'll feel after a work out!

2-3 lb hand weights, and mat.

Hello and welcome! You will find lots of support here. And it's not fancy, but what MFP offers works. Track ALL of your food, stay under the calorie requirements and exercise. It will teach you a sustainable way to eat for life. Good luck to ya!!0

Thanks everyone.
I am trying to exercise - we (as a family) have recently discovered the joys of cycling. Unfortunately we can't get out everyday as my husband works silly shifts and we have 2 young children, but try to go out 3 or 4 times each week. We've worked up to 10 miles each trip, which I think is pretty good going for us.
I am going to try and walk a lot more, too.0
