Intro

Hi all!

I have been a member of MFP since about March but I didn't take advantage of all the site has to offer, including reaching out to friends. I guess I figured I could do it on my own and I kind of wanted to hide behind the keyboard and not show what I look like. I would log in for a couple of days, then not for a few days. Then I decided to get serious and start over and this time reach out for friends and it really does make a huge difference for me. We all need the support and friendly kick in the bum when necessary. :-) Please feel free to add me.

So, about me - I'm married, a mom to three adult children, a grandma (though I certainly don't feel old enough to be one!), and am going back to school for a new career. I live in Texas, I love outdoorsy type stuff like hiking and camping and definitely want to get back into shape so I can enjoy those activities. I would love to live where there are mountains and four seasons though, but I do like Texas.
