Bodybugg and BodyMedia

Can anyone explain what's going on with Apex and Bodybugg? The iPhone app has been non-functional for a month and customer support has quit responding to emails. I read a rumor that BodyMedia purchased Bodybugg and that current Bugg subscribers will need to switch over to a BodyMedia account, but I haven't seen any official statements.
I don't want to keep investing time and money in a Bodybugg if the company won't support their product.

I have the BodyMedia Link Device. I've never heard it called "BodyBugg" but it appears to be provided by BodyMedia. Here's a link.

Bodybugg licensed the device from BodyMedia for many years and they had separate subscription plans and apps. It looks like bodybugg is now part of BodyMedia. I'm still not sure about the details but it looks like I should just go sign up for BodyMedia and hope they'll let me use my BodyBugg branded device.0

Jawbone acquired BodyMedia last month, so they probably made changes. I Googled BodyBugg customer service and got this page: http://my.apexfitness.com/about/contact-us/ You say they've stopped answering e-mail, so try calling the 1-800 number. If that doesn't work, try contacting BodyMedia.0
