    US Low carb ingredients

    HI all

    My friend is going to Florida later this year and I thought this might be a good time to ask her to pick up some low carb foodstuffs that can be hard to get here in the UK, such as low carb BBQ sauce. Any recommendations for things to ask her to pick up for me??

      Sugar free salad dressings? Maybe some low carb chocolate bars? I do low carb, but I normally don't worry too much about dressing, sauces, ect.

      Thanks for your reply. I normally make my own salad dressings, but things like tomato sauce and BBQ sauce are so laden with sugar that I don't tend to buy them. I miss them though!

      I live in Florida, never heard of sugar free bbq sauce. As far as tomato sauce we just used real diced tomato's. Low carb salad dressing = oil and vinegar.

      Just bumping to see if anyone else has any suggestions. Like I said, I make my own dressing so that's not an issue for me. It's more ketchup, BBQ sauce for pulled pork (and I have seen some sugar free ones on Wal-mart's website so I'm sure they do exist), and recommendations for liquid smoke as I don't think I've ever seen that over here in the UK!
