How would one log jumping jacks?

I read on Livestrong.com that a person of my weight would burn 3.6 calories a jumping jack, and I just did 50, which would calculate to 182 calories burnt. But does that even make sense? I need help.

MFP works with time. Click on exercise, type in Jumping Jacks, and log your jumping jacks.0

Yes, I get that. But 50 jumping jacks took me 44 seconds. I can't log that!0

I have a HRM, so I go by what it tells me. MFP has been way off on some exercises I noticed. One example is using the elliptical for 60 min, MFP calculated 200 MORE calories burned than my HRM stated.0

No. It doesn't.
Considering that running a mile is roughly 100 calories burned, I wouldn't think that 50 jumping jacks is equivalent to 2 miles ran.0 -
It does sound a little high, but it also depends on your weight I would think.
50 jumping jacks would probably take you 1 minute to complete. I just dont see burning 190 calories in 1 minute.
My workout this past Sunday was:
1 min: jumping jacks
30x dumbbell press ups (20 lbs)
1 min: battle ropes
1 min: push up planks
1 min: bosu planks
30x TRX chest rows
30x squats
I did this 4 times then below
10 minutes on treadmill 15% incline, speed 1 mph backwards walking
After doing all this, it took about 60 minutes, I burned 730 calories.
So just some reference, all that 730 calories compared to 50 jumping jacks 190 calories.0 -

That sounds very high for a 44 sec workout. I use a HR monitor to get an accurate burn.

I weigh 235 and I have heart rate monitor. When I do jumping jacks I burn about 10 calories a minute. Hope that helps.0

10 cals a minute sounds about right if you're going for it!0 -
I think if it is 20 calories is even a lots for example doing squats you don't burn anything as they are only exercises for muscles even if you feel pain doing 50 or more. To burn that amount of calories i think you should jump for at least 15 minutes!!0

how about slowing your jacks down so you can do it for five minutes straight
now you can enter into MFP 5 minutes of jumping jacks.

Everything I read online shows an average of 10 calories per min of jumping jacks.
I checked MFP and if I put jumping jacks, vigorous in for 1 min it calculates 9 calories burned.0
