I am 45. Two partial knee replacements in February, and now trying to use the new knees to their fullest, but struggling.

I would REALLY like the first number of my weight not to be a "2"...is that so much to ask?

And I want more energy.

I am also working on changing that 2 to a 1 - it may take 2-3 months but I will get there. I'm setting interim goals - 5 pounds at a time. Good luck. Does the heavenseven name have a story? Mine is from when I was a fat baby - instead of calling me mamasita (little mommy), they called me mamasota (the opposite).
  • Thanks for your encouragement! I am glad I found this site!

In regards to my screenname, heavenseven has been my preferred screenname for years and years. To me, heaven is my long, long term goal, and seven is from a root word meaning to be complete or full. So the name represents to me spiritual fulfillment.

    Thanks for asking!
  • Well just got up and decided to do this thing here. I'm looking to losing that number "2" in the weight number. I used to always be thin until I got lazy and started overeating some 25 years ago. This has been a nightmare ever since.

I'm new too - been at it for less than a week and I have lost 1.5 pounds. The journey has begun. Thanks for asking me to be a friend. I hope we can encourage each other along the way. I really like the meaning behind your screen name.

I like the pic, you two look good together. :-)

I know what you mean about your weight not starting with a "2". I'm down to 201 and yesterday, I jumped on the scale after a workout just to see what 199 looked like because I knew I would be under 200 after sweating. It didn't last but, I'll be there in about a week and a half. Good luck
