just thought i would let everyone know I have became addicted to salads the past week, i have went through 3 heads of lettuce and 4 tomatoes...!!! atleast 2-3 salads A DAY...I never thought i would see a day that i would wake up and crave a salad for breakfast...yay me

Lol, I get like that with things! It's great to be able to crave healthier foods as opposed to always junk (although those cravings do come too). Right now, it's all about me and bananas.0

i go in phases too...you'll pry get over them a little and cut down the number you eat per day if not then kudos just make sure you're getting enough protein.0

I was like that when I first started then I kind of got burnt out from eating so many salads. I know just have a small side salad here and there for dinner. I having been sticking to mainly lean protein and fruits and veggies now.0

Careful... don't burn yourself out on the same salad! I've done that too many times, gotta keep it fresh (no pun intended!). Lol.0

Good job, I love loading them up with veggies and other fun toss ins. And measuring a serving of dressing is really plenty, not like before where I would drown all those poor veggies.
One of my fave salads lately is spinach, thin sweet onions and strawberries with a dash of poppyseed dressing...yum.
Also I LOVE making dressings from scratch, actually done this for years, but still love it!0 -
I had this revelation a couple years ago. Never really enjoyed eating salads before that until I started getting creative with my mix-ins. Now if I go more than two days without a salad I get a major craving!0

I love salads too. When ever I start getting bored of them I throw in a little fresh or dried fruit, toasted nuts, small amounts of cheese or meat. It shakes things up and I have wonderful new flavors to enjoy.
For the last several years my kick has been grape tomatoes with a cheese stick for an afternoon snack. I have this several times per week but after a couple of years all of a sudden I am not enjoying those tomatoes so much. Time to find something new.0 -
I'm not addicted to salad...some days I'm just like chew chew chew...come on swallow...barely get down because I get sick of salad & there are lots other good stuff in my salad like broccoli cauliflower walnuts craisins... anyway a couple weeks ago my husband microwaved bacon crispy as too get most fat out of it and I just crumbled one slice of bacon in my salad...it made me like salad again & only one slice not that many calories. I am addicted to Yoplait Frozen Yogurt (strawberry) so good but because I have an addictive personality I get my 1/2 cup measuring cup and eat out of that because if I just start eating from the pint container I will eat all of it...sooo thats my treat snack only have on days I've done cardio as a reward for myself. That is basicly only sweets I keep in house. I've lost 13 lbs in 2 months since I started this healthier lifestyle. First 3 weeks was torture a little depressed grieving over the loss of my best friend bad food! However, its not like that anymore...it really gets better! I'm not fighting the urges all the time anymore...thank you God! Which brings me to my next point. Something I do differently this time is every day I start by asking God to please help me make healthy choices today..it has really helped. Everyone have an awsome day and be kind to the body God gave you!0

It's nice. For me it comes and goes. My main issue really is the calories in the dressing (I make my own with olive oil, but still). I'm in a no salad kick right now lol.0

yehh im addicted to fruit now! instead of having a packet of crisp wen i cum bk frm work i help myself to an apple or a mango .... lovin it0
