I'm pretty sure 1 stone = approx. 15lbs? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That is right -- a stone is 14 pounds. If you weigh ten stone, you are 140 pounds. I used to live in England, and our scales measured in stones.

When we moved back to the states, I bought a new digital scale in Bed, Bath, and Beyond. You can actually flip the settings between pounds, stones, and kilos.

Every so often, I'll flip it over to stones to see what I am -- just for old times' sake! lol
  • my scales must be English then as i have stones :ohwell: im currently 11 1/2 bit scary as doesn't take long to get to 13 or 14 stone that's pretty big from my experience of being their
i dont understand pounds or lbs so i have to just know that 12 means red light
