So me n hubby are off to Disney Orlando next Monday, but I read that the weather is wet, raining and hot?

We are in the UK and it is around 15 years since I was there last, so what do we wear and is it constantly raining now???

Have just been thinking shorts and t`s to pack for the parks.

What sort of clothes would you wear for the night time, am still talking clothes lol!

Any good places to go drink a beer or eat in the evening that any one can recommend?

Haven't done Orlando Disney, but we do California Disney all the time. LOVE it.

No advice, but enjoy the vacation!

It isn't raining constantly, but it is likely to rain every afternoon. Bring a rain slicker of some sort, or at least an umbrella/wide-brimmed hat for the 40 - 60 minute rain shower (more than that is rare).

Light tops and shorts/skirts are the norm, unless it's changed substantially since I was there. Loose-fitting dark clothes are actually marginally better at whisking the heat and sweat off of you, but YMMV.

It's been long enough since I've been to the area that any recommendations I give for food/drink are likely to be outdated, sorry.

Are you staying on Disney property?
How many days will you be there?
Do you plan to visit the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios?
  • I live about an hour and a half away from Orlando, but because of the tropical storm, it is raining A LOT lately. Not sure how long it will last but it shouldn't go past Monday or Tuesday. Generally weather is extremely hot and humid. Shorts and tee-shirts would be perfect (don't forget sunscreen if you burn easily!) For the evening you may want pants and a light jacket if you get cold easily. Personally I would be fine with just shorts (if I wore them) and a tee shirt, but my hubby would freeze. Lol

No advice on places to eat or anything as I've never been to disney, except with my youth group years ago, but we didn't get an option, and it was for a special event so a lot of the stuff was closed anyway.

    Enjoy your vacation!
