I bounced around here and there, but today I hit my goal. didn't just hit, but hit it at a flat 170.0.
I'm 29. I'm 5'11
Starting Weight: 250
First Goal Weight: 180
Final goal weight: 170
How I did it: I focused on food that was high in protein, avoided foods that offered very little protein. Protein= Full. With that simple concept I just played around with different foods, and cut out stuff, introduced stuff.. it was all really fun and scientific. This whole experience has been some sexy sexy science for me. Like... Just.. empowered..and trust myself. I didn't really slip from April 2012 to January. I actually went down to 180 before I gained my winter weight (dumb name. I should just call it "poor decision period), In jan I decided i want to be 170.
The health issues lost: High blood pressure, acid reflux (ALL THE TIME!!!)
The worst part: Probably the memories of how I use to eat. I get grossed out with the idea that I could take down 6 hot dogs no problem, or a whole Pan pizza from pizza hut no problem.
The best part: People are into me. I know it sounds weird.. i just.. never felt attractive as an adult. I now catch glances, which is weird. I'm still learning how to be more confident, but i'm getting there.
My diet all started because I read the first half of the book "The fast food diet". Though I don't agree with the actual diet, there are some amazing little rules and things that really helped shaped my attitude towards eating.
