Hello, I'm diagnosed hypothyroid and they finally got my meds under control about 3 months ago. Since I have to work out 2 times a days 5 days a week, I have not lost a single pound. In fact despite eating healthy, watching my caloric intake I have gained 20 lbs since September 2012. I'm getting so frustrated, I am doing cross fit and the only thing that I've noticed is that my measurements have stayed the exact same despite gaining weight (which) I don't need anymore of! My doc said to stop doing CF and start doing cardio at least 2 hours a day. Has anyone else had this same issue and if so, have u had success switching exercises? Thank u!

I don't have the same medical conditions, but I do have my own that make it hard to lose weight. I settle for inches instead when I can't lose the pounds. Muscle weighs more than fat, keep that in mind! :)

An open diary and some numbers would be helpful.

Why do you "have to work out 2 times a days 5 days a week" ?

If you've gained 20 lbs in 9 months the calorie is a calorie folks would say you ate about 250 calories a day too many. Hypothyroid does reduce metabolic rate so that's entirely plausible.
