New friends needed!

Hi all, my name is Beth. I am 22 years old. I am about 5ft 4in and weigh 140kgs (308 pounds). I have been here for a while, but haven't really committed til tonight. I have lots of weight to lose - about half my body weight. I know it is going to be hard, but hopefully some of you would like to become friends and we can work to motivate each other. My friends outside of this world don't seem to be very encouraging or supporting as they don't really understand what I am going through - none of them have ever had weight issues, so any motivation and support would be most welcome!!

    Feel free to add me. I started at 280lbs. Now at 198. It's been long and hard, but well worth it plus I still have 68 more to lose.
    I log everyday (except for the occasionl cheat day...:laugh:
    A little advice if you mind listening.
    Start small, start slow.
    Don't think of this as a diet, but a way of life.
    And most important....DON'T GIVE UP! You can do anything you set your mind to.

    Add me too if you would like! I have a lot to lose as well, but its not about losing it only, its about changing the way i look at food and look at what it is in my life! Its tough, but you can do it!

    My advise: Start small- small changes to what you eat, small changes to your daily routine, small changes to geting up and moving, and set small goals that you can reach and that make you feel empowered when you reach them! (it helps me feel like i'm doing really well!)

    Hi, I'm David. I have been trying to loose wt all my adult life. My BMI is 39.9, so that makes me a chuncky monkey indeed. I was a pretty athletic guy in years past and want to recapture some of that youthfulness in my adult life. I hope this tool will help. Nice to be in the group.
