Need lunch ideas!

I pack my lunch for work everyday and it has been salad, salad, salad. While I do love salad and adding various things to it, I'm getting a bit bored and need some new ideas. What are some of your favorite lunches to bring to work? Thanks!

We cook for our family of 4 most nights so my husband and I often will take a leftover from the night before (healthy of course) - or I make wraps with turkey and lettuce/tomato/avocado if I have it on a high fiber wrap - fruit, greek yogurt, cottage cheese.
  • half a sandwich and soup!

Or lean cuisine, or healthy choice now makes 100% natural no preservative meals.

My co-worker brings veggies and boiled eggs to much on. sometimes fruit too. And Yogurt!

I also use left over chicken and chop it up to add to salads, gets more protein in.

I know what you mean about salads, and it does get boring. I'm more of a snacker, so I eat typically lighter meals, unless they are leftovers (Pizza, chicken, pasta, etc).

I also use pinterest to get awesome bento box ideas

I eat a lot of salads for lunch too. Sometimes I'll make a nice big protein smoothie in the morning and bring a bunch of snacks and spread them out throughout the day every two hours instead of eating lunch- almonds, fruit, leftover roasted veg, eggs, etc.

I agree with the other ladies: soup is one of my favorites, veggies and dip (not too much dip!!), eggs, I love to do a wrap and then toast it it the toaster oven at work, I often much on fruit or nuts during the day and yogurt with fruit. If you buy the frozen fruit just put a bit (1/2 cup-1 cup) in a container and by lunch it will be dethawed and ready to go on your yogurt and I also will put a bit of "harvest crunch granola" cereal on top. Also if you do have salad try the new Kraft fruit and veggie dressing it is very low cal and tastes great, my fav is the roasted cauliflower and garlic it is a cream dressing but only 30 cals for 1 tbsp. I think there are 4 flavours for this type of dressing definately worth the try

I've recently found Tyson precooked frozen grilled chicken breasts. I'll cook up some brown rice enough for a few days, portion, and throw it into containers then add canned black beans or salsa to the brown rice. The night before I'll toss in a frozen breast or two & its thawed by lunch the following day. I cut it up & mix it all together & follow w/ an apple.
