Hi, I just found out MFP yesterday and I'm already lovin' it! Especially those inspiring people that already reached their goals or almost reached their goals. I so envy all of you!

This app/website really works. My advice is BE HONEST. so what if you go over that day, mark it, so you can SEE what your eating. If you are anything like me (I have a built in forgetter) it helps to SEE your patterns. Its also great to see what food COSTS so to speak. I often ate stuff not knowing what it was made of, how many calories, etc etc. Now I care. I ask myself if that food is WORTH it. Ive had plenty of slips, over days etc, but continuing to mark everything I eat and stay close to my target calorie intake has still helped me shed over 40 lbs. IT REALLY WORKS. Keep going, you will see a change in about 4 weeks. In 8 weeks your friends will see a change and in 12 weeks the WORLD will! (borrowed that good luck!0
