Guilt-free Indulgences?

I was just thinking to myself whilst eating my blueberry Chobani Greek yogurt, how amazing it i that I can still enjoy many things that satisfy the sweet tooth and feel like you're surely eating something bad for you! For example, I have greek yogurt every night for dessert..I even look forward to it during the day! I often have preference to it over icecream! (Maybe not Ben & Jerry's triple caramel chunk...but it's best we don't talk about that). So I started thinking of other indulgences there are that "feel" like you're being naughty! I love apples as well..if Im craving sugar I'll have an apple and the sweetness is as satisfying as a bag of lollies!

What are your guilt-free indulgences??

Banana popsicles! :D I take a banana, add a bit of skim milk, blend them together, and put them in popsicle molds. Super tasty, but it's just a nutrient-rich banana and milk.

What you're talking about is something vital to the success of weight loss, I feel. Being able to have things you really like once a day makes you feel like you're not being deprived. It's the feeling of deprivation that makes people fail.

For me it's dark chocolate. I have 3-4 squares most evenings and I really enjoy it.

Everything. As long as it's within my calorie target.

To be fair though, a lot of people trying to lose weight here don't have the luxury of 2000+ targets like you and I.

Okay, maybe I should change this question then. How's this: "What are foods you enjoy eating that can be considered healthy, but are just as satisfying as unhealthy foods"?

Another example - I make these homemade pizzas which satisfy me just as much as eating a giant meatlovers pizza from Dominos

Home-made roasted peanuts. More satisfying than the crisps I love to chomp on.

I was eating what I wanted when I was only eating 1400. I just ate less of the healthy stuff. ;)

Also, I suspect many could eat closer to 2000 if they didn't have such a strong desire to lose 500lbs by this evening. I'm a strong advocate of lifestyle changes via the longterm approach to weight loss.

Plain greek yogurt & strawberries.(good whether u use fresh or frozen strawberries) It's like strawberry shortcake w/out the cake. Sooo yummy. If u crave chocolate u can just add a few shavings of dark chocolate over top of it for an added treat.
