Struggling hard to see any success, I hate to work out. So far I've tried the 30 day shred and walking on the treadmill. I hated the shred and the treadmill I can do...but. Gym is out of the question, time is always an issue. Anybody have any ideas for at home worout that's had success?

Weight lifting0

Strong Lifts 5x5. You will need to purcase some equipment, but it can be a quick , fun workout and show results. Other than that, any heavy weightlifting with a little cardio thrown in should do the trick. Good luck!0

I have downloaded a bunch of workouts from YouTube (many of them using dumbells to match the equipment I happen to have). I mix these up according to how I feel and always wear a HRM so I know how much calorie burn is going on. 30 day shred gets a bit boring and can be intimidating on a day when you're tired. Try FitnessBlender on YouTube. I like their stuff and there's a huge variety.

I've been doing the Leslie Sansone videos at home. They're kind of boring and repetitive, but they get me moving around and my heart rate up. If I don't have the time (or willpower... sometimes I am so lazy) to do a whole video I'll start it up, do it for 10 minutes or whatever, pause it, and come back to finish later. When I'm at home on the weekends this is a great method to break up the monotony of TV-watching/napping/couch-sitting -- just get off my *kitten* when I've been too still for too long, do 10 or 15 minutes of movement, and go back to relaxing. Last Sunday I did this seven times for a total of nearly two hours working out!0

The key is to move! Some people like to walk, some like to ride, some like to run, some like dance, some like to swim and others like to lift. Of course most do some combination of many, many different activities. Hey I even like to hula hoop (you'd be amazed how many calories you burn hula hooping). So the long and short of it, you must find what is right for you. It has to be something you enjoy or you won't do it. So you don't like the treadmill, well don't do the treadmill. Have you tried rowing? Always remember it doesn't have to be painful and boring, fun and exciting is even better. How about rock climbing? How about surfing? Kayaking? The list can go on and on. Just move that is what is important, and have fun while you are moving!0

I am doing yoga for the strength side and watch super yogis as motivation, I soo want to be able to do those moves. I also use a stationary bike because I can read or smart phone on it. If it's a really good book I can burn a lot of calories without getting bored. Sometimes I work out harder because I am not focusing on how tired I am.0

I hate working out, I ESPECIALLY HATE cardio and running. UGH. I just had a baby so every morning I walk him in his stroller for a mile and a half (found a site online where I could map out my route and see how far it was). I also just found this GREAT GREAT app that is teaching me to run. It's called RUN 5K, it's supposed to teach you to run a 5k straight in 8 weeks. You just follow the different routine everyday. It's really cool cuz it actually trains you the correct way so you're not completely worn out and you start to improve. Then I get bored with weights and don't have a gym access either so I use youtube or netflix to do yoga and pilates videos on top of squats, push ups, and sit ups and stuff.0
