What do YOU do about BLT's??

I was curious what others do about bites, licks,& tastes (BLT's)? Sometimes as I clear the table, I may grab a piece or two of a cut up hot dod from a kids plate, grab a couple grapes as I pass pass the bowl in the kitchen, maybe take a chip off of my sons plate, etc. I don't do it TOO often, but I'm sure it does add up after a while. I've been having pretty good losses so I don't think it is really an issue for me right now, but I was just curious if anyone else may run into doing this from time to time, and I was just curious what others may do in regards to tracking?

I'd track a couple bites of hot dog, because that's easy. So is a chip. But something like a partial spoonful of soup probably not.

The concept that size does not matter was reintroduced to me the night of the Hershey's Kisses incident.

Even if it is small, If I can find it, then generally I log it. However, there are limits to the level of effort I'm willing to put forth to log a bite. If the quantity options cause me to have to pull out a scale, calculator, and a conversion chart, then I have to let that one slide.

If it's just one bite, I won't log it, but maybe I will round up the next thing I do log. So I will nibble an unrecorded tater tot, but record the burger as 7 oz instead of 6 or record something as a whole amount even if I did not finish it. Also, I use a fitbit and do a bit of walking around in the morning while getting ready before I put my fitbit on. I reconcile myself to these 'lost' steps by reminding myself of all of the "missing" bites that I do not log. I think it is better to log 95% of what I eat than 0% because I get frustrated.

I don't eat my exercise calories back so that's my buffer for BLT's.

If we're eating the same thing, I just increase my portion size by a small amount.

If it's something else, it really depends. I mean, if I ate a leaf of lettuce from someone else's sandwich, I really doubt that's going to change diddly. But if I ate part of a hot dog I definitely would.

I don't worry about it unless I stop losing weight. Then, I reevaluate how I'm eating and make sure I'm logging everything. If I still don't start losing, I will then reevaluate my calorie goal.

Thanks. Sometimes if I have, say 2 chips, but I'm 110 calories short at the end of the day and looking at tha nutritional info I know 2 chips don't total more than what I am under, I figure that is a 'buffer' if that makes sense?

This is also what I tend to think also....
