June 2013 crunch challenge

Hey everyone! I don't know if any of you have heard of the website shrinkingjeans.net but it's pretty awesome, no lie. One of my favorite aspects of the site is that each month they post a fitness calendar that targets a specific area of the body. Last month they did a squat challenge, which some of you might have seen or even been a part of on here. This month they are doing a crunch challenge! You can see the chart below, but basically it gives you an amount of crunches to do per day with rest days in between. With the squat challenge I sometimes shifted the rest days around based on what fit my schedule better so that's totally fine if you have a super busy day and don't get around to doing your crunches. You can always skip it your next rest day as opposed to trying to do double in one day. Another thing is that you can totally split it up into sections if it's too many for you to do at once. On the days where you have to do a large amount try doing some in the morning and some in the evening or even just doing them in sets of 20 or 25. It makes things a lot easier! So have fun with it and lets get our abs into shape this month!
Also, if you would like to read more about the challenge as a whole the actual link to it is http://shrinkingjeans.net/2013/05/30-day-ab-challenge/

The rest day thing confuses me because why have a rest day when you're already over training your abdominal muscles anyway? <_< I don't want to sound like a douche, but I seriously don't understand.0
