Anyone using a Garmin 910? Looking for good/bad points before purchase decision please?

    I haven't tried it myself, but this guy writes excellent reviews in his blog. If he hasn't covered the 910 yet he probably will soon.

    I have one and it is great. The only real issue with it is that it is not really practical to use it as a day to day watch. It can be set up to display the time of day as a custom screen but this can be awkward and of course the battery life is not really suitable for this.

    It has a vast range of features but if you are interested only in running and/or cycling then the cheaper 610 might be a better buy if you are on a tight budget,

    As a training device it is quite simply the best I have ever used.
