ladies help!!!

Okay ladies any suggestions as to why when it's that time of the month all I want to do is eat a birthday cake all by myself????:noway: Do you also have specific cravings that are not helpful to your diet? What do you do to help curtail that? It's bad for me because right now I actually have some birthday cake in the fridge!!!!:ohwell:

    Women usually have high cravings for sugar/carbs during their menstrual cycles...

    Few things that might help you:

    1) Consume lots of water.
    2) Try to eat high protein diet
    3) Whenever you feel a strong craving to eat something sweet.. brush your teeth..or just use a minty mouth wash.... it might sound silly but trust me it does help to curb the cravings...
    4) You can also try a natural supplement called 5-htp that helps with serotonin levels and curbs cravings as well..
