I love Laughing Cow cheese wedges, but want new ways of using it besides eating it on crackers, pita chips, toast and bagels. My favorite flavor is Light French Onion. I have heard of people spreading it (I'm assuming the original flavor) on apples, but I haven't gotten up the nerve to try that yet.
Anyone have any interesting ways they've used laughing cow cheese? Maybe mix it with something else??
Thanks!

Not sure if you're looking for snacks or a meal, but there's a "Hungry Girl" recipe for cheeseburgers that has you stuff Laughing Cow cheese inside the burger before cooking it-they are pretty tasty!0

Spread it on half of a tortilla, add lunch meat or lean ground beef with cheese. Makes a wonderful quesadilla. I make mine on the stove in a big pan.0

I made a light version of chicken cordon bleu with the swiss laughing cow cheese wedges. I also like pouring salsa over a couple wedges and using it as a dip for veggies or wheat thins.0

Yu-UMMY! Thanks!0

Someone posted an alfredo pasta recipe like last week. Search for it, it sounds GREAT! :] I just discovered Laughing Cow on wraps... I bought the light blue cheese over the weekend and it tastes SO good. My mom used to buy the original when we were kids as treats. I never thought to spread it or mix it in anything 'cause we loved eating it by itself. I'm hooked.0

Did you melt the cheese tho ?0

My favorite is the French Onion too. I spread it on honey ham sandwiches and they're soooooo good. I'm guilty of grabbing a spoon and just eating a wedge too. Lol.0

I wish they would make a cheddar flavor! :sad:0

Hungry-girl.com has a bunch of recipes for it. She scrambles it in eggs and has a chicken recipe too. I like the stuff on crackers, but not really mixed in my food :sick:0

mixed into my drained, canned tuna. or on a cocopop (google those, they're pretty amazing).0

Try it in Mashed Califlower along with greek yogurt.0

I know a few people have mentioned Hungry Girl already... but... I get her emails and I recently bought one of the books:

It really has some great ideas for Laughing Cow cheese as well as quite a few other things. My favorite (super-simple) thing to do with the LC cheese is to toast a light english muffin and spread one wedge of the french onion on. Perfect.0 -
I grilled veggies tonight but was just in one of those "carb" moods - needing something creamy - so I added a wedge of the garlic & herb to my hot grilled veggies - it was heavenly. Exactly what I needed. Only 35 calories - but very satisfying and I know it saved me from making a not-so-healthy-choice! MMMMMMMMMM0

here's the recipe for the alfredo sauce thingy. i made it tonight and it was fabulous!!!!!!!! i did make it with more peppers and broccoli and i entered the whole thing into the recipe maker thing. i saw someone added just the sauce but i did the whole meal. like i said though i did add more veg to it.
other than that, on a day my husband cooked and it was nothing i could/would eat. i quickly made myself a chicken breast and then i took a potato and cooked it in the microwave. i added a garlic herb laughing cow cheese and a little water and then broccoli and i made the most awesome mashed potato like concoction that only took me a few minutes.
i've also had it carrot sticks and it's awesome.0 -
I like to put some on my baked sweet potato instead of butter! Yum!0

Wow, this is great! Laughing Cow is on sale all the time at my local store so I buy it a lot but I was only eating it with crackers...which gets a little dull after a while. I'll have to try some of these suggestions!0

Thanks ya'll! I printed all of your ideas - they all sound YUMMY!0
