Quick question about McDonalds...

Anyone know the true nutrition information for...

Medium sugar free french vanilla iced coffee with light cream?

I get a different set of nutrition facts from every source!!! Does anyone work there maybe and know what "light cream" really means or is???? Also, if the syrup is "sugar free", why do the calories say 120???

Thanks for any help... I am totally addicted to these... especially now when they are only $1 vs. my usual $2.50 at DD!!!!

Your best bet is probably to take the average of those. D: Is there information on the actual McDonald's site?

Also, sugar-free doesn't mean calorie-free. Fat and protein are not sugars, and chances are, it contains some fat for creaminess.

the real only calorie free thing is WATER...yep everything else has some form of calories.
  • McDonalds is the root of all evil.
You eat there and you will die.

:P I live off of their cones. Have you checked their site for nutritional info?

The site will be the most correct. False advertisement is a serious lawsuit that they don't need.

So, the light cream is what they call their cream--for whatever reason it is light.

The reason a medium is 120 calories is that they put four shots of this light cream into your drink, and each equals about 30 calories. The only way to reduce the calories in the drink would be to get less of the light cream.

Lastly, they do have a really good nutrition site, where you can literally build (within reason) exactly what you are getting.

I say, go ahead and enjoy them, but key is moderation, moderation, and more, moderation! Have you checked McD's website or one of their restaurant locations for its nutritional value? McD's typically posts the facts on their menus...at least at the drive-thrus...

That being said, the light and sugar free thing(s) are seldom better for you than the real deal. My dad's a diabetic and has studied ingredients and most of the time, foods/drinks substitute a 'bad' ingredient with an even worse one...it may have 'better' nutritional value, but it's less healthy for you.

Remember: Too much of a good thing is never a good idea!

Geez!!!! Thanks guys! I did look it up on the website but it didn't specify if had cream or not in the nutrition facts or if it was just the syrup.

I really like my coffee, like everything else, in moderation so..... either I make it myself with just skim milk or occasionally "splurge" for the flavoring.

    Thanks again!

I love McDonald's coffee. Where I live we have the Newman's Own and it is really good. Way better than D&D. $1 for any size.
