Someone asked me for a pic the other day. I never get my picture taken, but I thought maybe I should be documenting this process.

First I'll tell you my backstory. December of last year I reached my highest weight 318 lbs. I was drinking 2L of diet pepsi along with a couple energy drinks every day. I was so tired all the time. I had given up on ever losing weight and decided that I would be happy if I weighed 318 for the rest of my life. I have so much more to live for than to spend my whole life dieting. But I wanted more energy. So I started eating less carbs during the day. I felt so much better.

By february I had lost 20 lbs without even trying to lose weight. I was just eating the things that made me feel good. I started a new job and a friend at work told me about my fitness pal. If I could lose that much I figured I might as well give it a go.

I still have at least 100 lbs to go. But right now I am 43 lbs lighter. I'm on week 6 of the C25K, and I feel better physically that I have my whole life. I can feel a difference when I get dressed, but I don't really see it in the mirror. I wish I had taken before pictures.
