Diet Revamp- The New Atkins

I recently started Atkins and I'm loving it! I'm currently in my fourth week and I've lost 10.5 pounds! I am normally barely able to lose 1#/week restricting calories. Nine of those pounds were in the first two weeks. Initially I just used the website for reference and last week I bought the book which got me even more excited about the program. NO MORE STARVING MYSELF!!! My husband has also started it with me two weeks ago and he's doing great as well. If you have been in a rut with your weight loss/diet, or are just plain sick of always being hungry and counting calories in your weight loss journey, check out the "The New Atkins for a New You" book, the program has come a long way and is definitely more sustainable than in the past. We love it and love the food we are eating. We have had no problem following it on the road, or at cookouts and family functions. Keep trying 'til you find what works for you!

    So what was wrong with the old atkins that they had to make a new one?

    Glad you found what works for you - hopefully you did take into account that you will have to do this for the rest of your life. I lost quite some weight with the new Atkins as well, but gained it all back and then some, because I could not eat like that forever. Also it's not the best diet if you want to workout. But back then I was lazy, so it worked out just fine :P
