Does changing your eating habits really have a drastic effect on your cycle? I am way overdue (usually I am like clock work) and the only thing I can contribute it to is my new eating plan. Anyone else out there have similar situation?
btw there is ZERO chance it's pregnancy related.

How long have you been eating at 1000 calories a day? I've heard that you can lose your period by undereating (different level for different people based on metabolism and caloric expenditure), but I would imagine that it would take a while, and it's more common with a very low body fat percentage. If you've only been on your diet for a month or so, your body may just be adjusting to the change in diet. I would try to get closer to your target calorie goal though.0
