greek style bean pita wrap

the ENTIRE batch (which could easily feed 3-4 people) is 370 calories (33g protein, 55g fiber) and the sauce is 120 calories (22g protein)

    OOh, and for the linkaphobics.... i'll c&p the recipe. although the link does have pictures.

    1/2 cup Fiber One Bran cereal
    1 medium carrot
    2 cups cooked great northern beans (pressure canned from 3/4 cup dry beans)
    1 egg
    1 tbsp cumin
    1 tsp garlic
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper

    Lemon Dill Sauce
    1 cup fat free greek yogurt (I use Oikos)
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    1 tsp dill seasoning

    In a food processor, pulse cereal and carrot. Add in beans, egg, and spices then blend well. Using two spoons, drop spoonfuls of the bean mixture onto a hot pan. Cook until browned, flip, and lightly press on each one to flatten and cook other side until browned. Serve on pita with lemon dill sauce and toppings such as: lettuce, kalamata olives, onions, bell pepper, cucumber, or feta.

    Any suggestions of what i could dserve it with instead of pita/ bread?

    you can skip the pita all together. I do that sometimes. It's better with the pita though and the pita i use is 120 calories (on the low end for pita).

    Also, you can make this same recipe but with black beans and serve it on a slice of toast or on a burger bun and top with regular burger things like ketchup, mustard, and relish.
