I just cpmleted day 1 and when i put this in my exercise diary it does not seem like I burned that many calories. Has anyone lost weight by only doing this workout? Also do you do this workout for 30 days straight with no breaks?

I couldn't do it for 30 days without breaks! When I started, my tendons were so unused to exercise that I would have crippled myself if I'd tried.

I lost weight doing the workout -- then eventually I started getting bored, and I actually had energy left over at the end of the workout (!!) so I started trying things that would keep me moving longer than 20 minutes. So I haven't done that workout all the time I've been losing weight, but it sure kicked my butt the first six months :)

By the way, I'm impressed that you could get through your first day and say "Is it really enough exercise?" I could barely move after my first day, and if anyone had told me that wasn't enough exercise, I would have cursed them feebly from the floor where I was lying.

Most exercise, whether stregnth training or cardio, burn on average 200-300 calories for 30 minutes of effort. Doing this over times while managing your calorie intake will give results.

Problem becomes that people want to cut calories to nothing and produce these epic 1000 calorie burns, trying to lose 30 pounds in 30 days (which they gained over a year).
