potassium levels?

Hi,
I've been tracking my potassium levels and found that I am really not getting very much potassium in the foods that I am eating (most days) and think that I have been eating a well balanced diet ( most days). Some days I have gotten less than 900 mg per day, and noted that I should be getting about 3500 mg per day. Does anyone have any ideas of getting more potassium in one's diet? Noted that I am getting most of my potassium from coffee, skim milk, and potatoes (which I don't really like but still eat occasionally). I eat a lot of fruit but it doesn't have as much as I thought.
By the way, I love this web site and have lost 24 pounds in 7 months mainly by measuring and recording my food intake. The previous year, I only lost 12 pounds ( for the whole year).

I've been tracking potassium in an effort to lower my systolic blood pressure. It is difficult, but keep eating the fruits and vegetables. Sometimes if you throw in a v8 that helps bump it up too.0

Coconut water is a great way to get potassium, and bananas. :0) Some people don't like the taste of the coconut water plain, so you can always try one of the flavored ones.0

A lot of entries in the MFP database do not include accurate/any potassium counts. Just something to keep in mind.0

I love coconut but worried about the saturated fat. Does coconut water have a lot of saturated fat? Thanks for the tip. Wow! It has more than skim milk!0

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind. According to my blood work, I am getting enough K+. Wondering if I should get more from my diet due to all the extra exercise I am doing.0
