I've posted a handful of times in here recently so you guys may have already cheered me on in my success but this weekend was a huge step for me. It's been over 5 YEARS since I've worn a swimsuit. I just didn't have the confidence but this weekend on a camping trip to the lake I sported one without fear and shame! Yes, I did take the shorts and cover up shirt off to swim!


Just a reminder of the old me who didn't even own a swim suit :(

    do you have one of those swimsuits that's a whole piece but has the side cut out kindof like a whole piece/bikini?!?!

    THATS my ultimate goal is to wear one of those next summer :D

    Thank you! Mine is called a monokini I think. The top is connected to the bottom in the front but not at all in the back. I wasn't brave enough to try a bikini yet with all the stretch marks and little bit of loose skin I still have left on my tummy. Maybe next year!

    I actually get teased a bit for how light complected I am. Not in a mean way but I catch grief from my friends about how pale I am. That with my hair color and all my freckles... I get called a ginger a lot. I had a bottle of tanning lotion tossed to me on this trip and was told to use some. Lol.

    Yes sir. I had my second child in last year in september and hated how big I had gotten with both pregnancies so I decided to do something about it.

    I think thats the kind i want! im sure i too will have stretchmarks (ive had two kids) so that will probably be my first choice!!!
