    Their ability to pick out the difference between a dark blue and black in a dimly lit room. I just don't know how they do it. I can't tell the difference.

    Nothing, but then again I am married. When I was much younger and single; I was slightly intimidated by looks; but then one day it occurred to me that, the worst thing that could happen is someone could tell me no or go away.

    Well this is disheartening since I've been told I'm intimidating more than a few times....guess I'm just unlikeable...cause I know for a fact I don't have a stache .

    I was raised in an all-boys school with brothers and no sister. I know how to be a gentleman but extremely shy. Coming from Thailand even makes it worse. I've been here for 12 years and I'm still not comfortable with either a hugging or even a hand-shaking with any girl.

    ^ Yeah, bettas are tiny compared to you. Of course they're intimidated. I know they look fierce with their fancy fins and flared gills, but they're no match for you. I doubt a beta could manage a bubble nest large enough to please you anyway.
