Workout headband recommendations?

Every time I go to the gym, I end up with my eyes burning from sweat and pieces of my hair escaping my ponytail, falling in my face and bothering me. (And fogged up glasses, but that's a different issue altogether  ) I've tried a couple different types of headbands, but they always end up slipping or not actually absorbing the sweat.

Anyone have a brand of headbands that they really love that stays in place through a whole workout and keeps sweat out of your eyes?

I just do a bun, pin up my bangs with some POWERFUL bobby pins (the ones that are super long and thick), and wipe sweat off my face with a paper towel (or honestly, more often, the top of my shirt). I try not to actually touch my face with my hands, though.

I really like the Hoo Rag.Fun patterns, and it stays nicely in place.

Lululemon! Since I cannot afford my lulu fix since I'm going to Canada - I bought some thick Remmington headbands at WalMart today for $2.75 :) dying to try them out on my run! I got the green/teal combo but if they work will buy more!

I like the cheap, thin Nike ones. They stay put and are far more absorbent than they look like they would be.

Thanks for all the recommendations! I think I'm going to try the haloband.

@anemoneprose - Unfortunately my hair's not long enough for a bun yet. And when I'm working out, I'm almost always wearing boxing gloves, which makes wiping my face ridiculously complicated ;)

I'm a do-rag kinda gal. 99 cent bandana's do the trick for me.

Yep, I use a cheap 99c bandana from wally world, fold it into a strip and tie it around my head. Stays put, absorbs the sweat. Easy!!

Another vote for the Halos. Especially if you sweat profusely.

I buy the Goody brand at Target. They work great on my odd shaped head. Look for the black ones with little grey bumps/ grips.

Check out sweatybands.com. They're awesome!! They stay in place and I'm out running like crazy training for a half marathon.

Buy a few terrycloth wristbands and keep them on your forearms, just above the gloves. Easy to wipe your face with, and keeps your hands free. :)

I'm about as cheap as they get.. .. I cut the bottom of an old T-shirt off. Wrap it around a few times or cut it once (creating one long "band" and wrap it around however many times and tie wherever you want. You can space out the wrap-arounds so they either stack, make one large band across the top or space them out to make it look like 2-3 bands. They absorb sweat and you can toss them in a lingerie bag and wash them just like a t-shirt.

I am partial to oneupbands.com. I bought a couple at a local fair, and they are similar to sweatbands but for some reason they stayed in place a little better.
