Egg Doner Experiences

I am very family-oriented, mine means everything to me. I would be so thrilled and honored to be asked to help another family complete theirs. (Though I would be a liar if I said the money was not any sort of factor, of course)

So I am in the preliminary stages of being interviewed as an egg doner. Has anyone done it before, and can tell me about their experiences? A certain agency they would recommend (I applied to many) or any to avoid because of a bad experience, maybe?

Please share what you know, whether you have donated, or even been a member of the intended family.

Also, if you are morally opposed to this sort of thing, I respect that, so please be polite and respectful yourself if you have any comments to make.

    I just want to say you're awesome! As someone who will most likely need an egg donor, there never seems to be enough! Congrats on taking this huge step. I have a ton of respect for you and your family :).

    I don't really have any experience, but just wanted to say I think it's amazing what you're doing. Creating a loving family is one of the greatest things in life (creating life too!)
