Today I had my first fail doing squats which was bound to happen sooner or later,I'm a positive thinking person so I'm going to eat, rest and smash it next time, what have you failed at and did you have the mindset to beat it next time ?

Lots of things...too many really to list. Thanks for reminding me.

LOL...in all seriousness...lot of things. One of the things I do work on, once a week are my less confident lifts. How else do I get better?

Today I failed at not eating the turtle cheesecake fudge that I had to make for a work function tomorrow. :grumble:

Were you ok? Failing a squat can be pretty brutal and potentially harmful.

I failed at Pilates today :( I did a 40 minute session yesterday and today my body is so sore. I did half an hour on my elliptical instead but I did feel like a bit of a failure.

I seriously messed up my back when I failed a squat. Now I have a degenerative lumbar disc to remind me of that failure. Hope you're ok.

I guess I am still failing at Insanity, I've yet to do the work out without needing a break. :D But I've heard that's a good thing.

It happens man. Just another step towards progress. You now know your current limit.

That's good. I attempted doing way more weight that I really had any business doing at the time. No one's fault but mine there.

I failed at maintaining my weight after 20 years of doing this very successfully, just proves life can get to you, but back in control now!

OHP were my first fail. Failed at 30 kg. I just talked to the lifters on my list and carried on. I'm not trying to compete, just improve my own thing so no big deal anyways.

Totally failed at bench press a few weeks ago. Could not shift the bar at all due to a strained bicep. I had to take about 2 weeks off, but then came back and did that set for a new PR! The waiting almost killed me.
