I'm looking to buy a good quality HRM without breaking the bank...any suggestions?

Polar for sure. I got a somewhat cheaper model (can't remember the brand) at Sports Authority to start with, and the thing was a piece of garbage. Returned it and got a Polar with a $20 off coupon for ****'s Sporting Goods. It works like a charm, whereas the other one seems to think I had no heartbeat at all.0

I just got the Polar FT4 and love it. It tracks calories in addition to hear rate. Paid $63.95 on amazon.0

I agree. Polar is the way to go, and the cals burned festure on thr FT4 is well worth the money.0
