Cheat Meal

I've recently lost 105 pounds, I have about 75 to go, I've been doing good for a straight 3 months, but i'd like some pizza.

I've done the math, 1 small pizza would be 1380 calories, and i'd eat it throughout the day with water.

I'm getting anxious, should I do this cheat meal or not?

    Congrats! That's amazing!

I think if you want the pizza, eat the pizza. ENJOY the pizza, and the next day, diet on! :)

I's ok to indulge once in a while or seriously, would life be worth living? Anyway, as long as it doesn't cause you to binge (you know yourself better than we do) go for it! Maybe do some extra walking or something.

Congrats on your amazing weight loss so far!!

I agree that if you want pizza, eat pizza. I've eaten pizza occasionally the whole time I lost 133 pounds and while maintaining that loss for the last 9 months. Pizza is not a "cheat" meal. It's a delicious meal that can be easily worked into your daily calories.

I do question why you want to eat an entire pizza, though - would 2-3 slices be enough to feel satisfied and indulged? Then you could freeze the rest to heat up in a month or two when you get the craving for cheesy goodness again.

Congrats with your weight loss !!!

When I crave for pizza I try to prepare it myself to control the colories without decreasing the pleasure ! I use:
    - whole wheat thin crust or bread slice or pita
    - I can load it with light tomato sauce
    - for the topping: fresh tomato, bell pepper, green olives (less calories than in the black ones), ham/chicken (instead of peperoni or bacon), light cheese (mozza, feta, emmental...), mushrooms.... whatever makes me happy !

And you know what, it takes the same time than putting the frozen pizza in the oven!

Enjoy the life and your pizza :drinker:
