30 DS 5 days each level?

What effect will 5 days each level have? with 2 day breaks?

Any ideas if it will be enough to lose some weight before my holiday?

Will probably do 10 days on level 3..

Any advice would be fab, I fly 8th July so not got long and just want one last kick.

Thanks :) xx

    Personally, I found it too tough to move on after 5 days. I struggled with the whole energy and recovery and with general life I couldnt do it everyday and had to have recovery days. Depends on your fitness and stamina. Just watch your food intake over the 2 day rest and perhaps go for a walk or go for a swim.

    You havent got much time have you? 4 weeks. A general rule is 2lbs per week but I have never lost 2lbs. Everyone is different and some lose very little but tone while others lose quite a lot. Level 2 is tough and the thought of 10 days constant on level 3 would be out of my limits. Do not under estimate the speed and energy you need to put 100% into the DVD - you may not have the energy to work out everyday.

    You can alternate the DVDs as long as you put as much effort as possible into 30 mins with as much HITT as you can. My calorie burn is 130 - 150 for 20 mins of workout. I would not eat back your lost calories.

    I wouldn't take 2 rest days, personally. I would either take none (which I know is not supposed to be good for you...whatever) or cut it back to 1. You'll probably get results, maybe not as much as if you did 10 days of each though.

    I did level 1 and 2 for 24 days. Today I did my first day of level 3 and I could barely do it. If you're on level 3 in 10 days, it won't matter much it's level 3 if you're not able of doing all of the work. Do every level for at least 9-10 days, without breaks. It doesn't matter which level you're doing, as long as it kicks your butt, so if level 1 is still kicking your butt after day X, just keep doing it until you're able to do all of the work.

    I took 2 rest days a week when I was doing that program and still got results I was happy with. I think JM even says that program was not meant to be done daily. As long as you are comfortable with the movements and can do them well with good form, it's okay to move to the next level.

    ETA: I spread the rest days out over the week rather than doing 2 rest days back to back.

    are you seeing results yet after 24 days?

    Pretty sure I am.
    It's just that I've also been doing a lot of other stuff, so I can't be absolutely sure where the results are coming from (probably from everything), but my arms are only really working in 30DS, and I've noticed a difference in my arms, if nothing else, the strength.
    And I am really damn sure I'm going to notice the difference after ten or more days of level 3 because holy cow, level 3 sure is level 3 ;_;
