Just made this for my Meal #2 today and liked it so much, I'll make it again soon. I added it to the Recipe Files.

Take 1 Cup Low-fat Cottage Cheese
1/2 Cup Skim Milk
2 to 4 Tablespoons of your favorite Sugar-free Flavored Syrup (I used Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce),
3 to 4 Ice Cubs
Optional: 1 packet of Truvia Sweetner

Place all in blender and blend well. YUM! Hope you enjoy it!

I'm sorry, OP, but I don't think I could get that down.

Sounds weird, but I think I'd add some canned or fresh pineappe instead of the sweeteners. Was it still kind of cottage cheese chunky or was it smooth after blending?

I'm following a specific diet right now in order to lose fat but adding fruit would probably make it taste good too. It's all personal preference. I blended it in my Ninja and the drink came out smooth. :-)

I'm adventuresome. I might try it with the pineapple. The look on my husband's face will be priceless. LOL

I actually put cottage cheese in most of my smoothies instead of milk. Once it's blended you wouldn't know the difference except it is thicker than milk would be.

I add cottage cheese and greek yogurt to my protein shakes all the time :) I agree with the OP, it make a great shake! Adding strawberries makes it taste like cheese cake, seriously.

I put cottage cheese in my protein shakes.
    1 scoop strawberry protein
1/2 cup of fat free cottage cheese
1 tbs of sugar free cheesecake pudding mix
    handful of spinach
    1 cup of almond milk
    ice

Lots of people use yogurt in there smoothies so this is sort of the same thing. Its freakin' delish!

That's along the same lines as the protein shakes on Dashing Dish. They're quite tasty. http://dashingdish.com/recipes/shakes/
